Patience Retreat

Patience Retreat
Fill your reserves of patient acceptance

Gen Kelsang Rinzin

Taught by Gen Kelsang Rinzin

Saturday, March 16th
1:00pm - 5:00pm

In situations of conflict, we tend to become angry easily, and our mind can become so disturbed. Sometimes we think anger will help us ‘win’ our battles, and we rely on it as if it were our trusted friend, but instead the mind of anger leaves a trail of broken relationships, lost opportunities, and painful feelings in its wake.

In this course, we recharge our heart with kindness and compassion. And we meditate on simple, skillful techniques to remain balanced, flexible and peaceful in the midst of difficult situations and conflicts.

In this age of acrimony, please join us for a half-day of kindness and acceptance.

Retreat is a time to set aside our ordinary activities for the purpose of focusing on a particular spiritual practice.

Except as indicated, all retreats are open to everyone. Beginners may prefer the guided retreats, but are welcome to participate in unguided retreats as well.
