In situations of conflict, we tend to become angry easily, and our mind can become so disturbed. Sometimes we think anger will help us ‘win’ our battles, and we rely on it as if it were our trusted friend, but instead the mind of anger leaves a trail of broken relationships, lost opportunities, and painful feelings in its wake.
In this course, we will learn and meditate on simple, skillful techniques to remain balanced, flexible and peaceful in the midst of difficult situations and conflicts, thereby overcoming our real enemy, the painful mind of anger itself. Please join us for a day of learning about the calm, spacious mind of patience, the direct opponent to the mind of anger.
