Monthly Buddhist Meditation Classes
Saturdays – 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Join us for an uplifting meditation class each month when American Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Rinzin comes to Casper, Wyoming. Classes include guided meditation, a teaching on some aspect of Buddhist philosophy, discussion and Q&A. Everyone welcome!
Modern Buddhism is a presentation of Dharma that is designed especially for people of the modern world. This Spring we will be focusing on trainings of Bodhisattvas - those who, with love and compassion, are true friends of the world. These teachings help us keep a balanced, positive outlook, thus enabling us to be a positive force in our family, community, and world. In May we will look into Buddhist Wisdom on the ultimate nature of reality, and in June we will learn special Buddhist technology for seeing the world purely. Come to as many as you can!

We are pleased to announce that a new Foundation Program will now begin in Casper, Wyoming. We will be studying Eight Steps to Happiness by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
An in-depth and practical explanation of one of Buddhism's best-loved teachings, Eight Verses of Training the Mind, by the great Tibetan Bodhisattva, Langri Tangpa. Clear methods are simply presented for transforming all life's difficulties into valuable spiritual insights, for improving our relationships, and for bringing greater patience, empathy and compassion into our daily life. For centuries, these methods have brought lasting peace, inspiration and serenity to countless people in the East. Now, with this book, Geshe Kelsang shares the immeasurably rich insight of this ancient wisdom to help us find greater happiness and meaning in our busy, modern lives.
This weekly study program, taught by Gen Kelsang Rinzin, will be partially live in Casper, and partially via recording, with time for paired and group discussion each week.
Cost: $50/month (includes access to the General Program morning class)
