Refuge Day 2018

Refuge Day 2018

Gen Kelsang Rinzin

Taught by Gen Kelsang Rinzin

Friday, March 2, 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Saturday, March 3, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Buddhism is a way of finding peace within oneself. It is a religion that helps us to find the happiness and contentment we seek. Buddhists develop inner peace, kindness and wisdom through their daily practice; and then share their experience with others, bringing real benefit to this world. They try not to harm others and to live peacefully and gently, working towards the ultimate goal of pure and lasting happiness for all living beings.

During "Refuge Day" we will deepen our connection with the most essential Buddhist practices.

All Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and holy beings,
Please protect me and all living beings
From the various sufferings, fears, and dangers of samsara;
Please bestow your blessings upon our body and mind.

For those who wish, Gen Rinzin will offer the Refuge Vows. Anyone may attend, regardless of whether they wish to take vows.
