This new book by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso offers us deep insight into our mind and how it works. It is a practical guide to developing a light, positive attitude – showing how to recognize and abandon states of mind that harm us, and to cultivate peaceful, positive states of mind that bring us happiness.
In this course, you will learn how to replace negative states mind with beneficial ones. You’ll gain insight into the different types of mind and develop a deep understanding of meditation, bringing all you’ve learned about the mind into your practice. You’ll be able to use the insight you gain from the course to be happier, and to improve your life and the lives of others.
In general, one may enroll at any time, and you may try two classes before enrolling. Particular class days are more conducive as 'trial days' so please contact Heruka Center for a good day to come. If you decide to join us you can enroll right after the second trial class.
When: Class meets once a week, Tuesdays at 7:00pm
Cost: $60/month makes you a Supporting Member. For that cost, you get access to all the Foundation Program classes and recordings, as well as free access to all drop-in meditation classes, free access to many retreats at the center, and 1/2 price on all other events at Heruka Center.
